Report of rubbish bin study

The design research project was conducted in four cities: Gdansk, Warsaw, Berlin, and Frankfurt, located in Germany and Poland. The aim of the project was to record and observe how people interact with rubbish bins in the past and modern times by comparing the functionailty and appearance of the bins in the modern area and the old town.
85 street rubbish bins were recorded. Observation was made regarding to people's behavior towards the rubbish bins, including how they disposed of waste, the frequency of use, and the level of satisfaction with the available bins. Data is also collected on the design and functionality of the bins, including the materials used, their size, and the location of the bins in relation to the surrounding environment.
